QA Engineer

We are seeking a QA Engineer with 2+ years of commercial experience in manual and automated testing of web applications. The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams and play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our products, solutions and services.


Responsibilities

Develop comprehensive test plans, checklists and test procedures. Conduct UI, functional (blackbox, API), and performance testing for web apps. Undertake exploratory testing as needed.● Identify and report issues. Develop and maintain automated tests.● Provide test reports on a regular basis. ● Propose solutions for preventing issues. ● Provide estimates for testing/QA efforts as required. ● Actively engage in scrum ceremonies and contribute value. Communicate with clients and end-users to accurately comprehend business requirements and translate them into efficient test strategies. ● Persistently enhance your technical skills to keep up with QA best practices.● Share your knowledge and experience with team members and colleagues.



Requirements

Essential Skills

At least 2 years of professional experience in manual testing of web applications.Practical experience working in Agile teams (Scrum, Kanban, etc).Natural attention to detail.Strong theoretical background in QAExcellent logical thinking and analytical skills.Experience in creating and maintaining test documentation.Proficiency in test automation with Selenium (Python or JS) or Cypress.Familiarity with version control systems (e.g. Git, TFS, Mercurial, SVN).Experience in integrating tests with CI/CD processes.Skills in API testing (Postman; REST, GraphQL).English proficiency at B2 level or higher.Capability to work independently with minimal supervision.Ability to make decisions in ambiguous situations.Effective verbal and written communication skills.Passion for continuous learning.


Preferred Skills

 ISTQB certificate.



Location and Team Collaboration

This is a part-time remote position (from 4h/day), with the possibility to transition to full-time depending on mutual agreement and business needs. You can work from your preferred location with occasional on-site collaboration at various offices, including Budva, Philadelphia, etc. Working hours are flexible but should overlap with our core locations in ET, CET, EET time zones.
